We are a small group of Quakers, meeting each Sunday between 10 a.m.
and 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Priory in Old High Street, Headington
(opposite the Baptist Church). In addition to Sunday worship, we
arrange occasional social events and evening discussion groups.
We offer a warm welcome to all who would like to join us on a Sunday
morning and to share a cup of tea or coffee with us after
Meeting. We meet in stillness seeking to discover a deep sense of
God's presence in either the unprogrammed quiet time or in the vocal
contributions of others.

Quakers acknowledge that there is something sacred in all people,
that each person is unique, precious and equal before God. True
religion is about the whole of life and leads us to eschew violence,
seek peaceful resolutions to conflicts and exercise respect for the
earth and all life upon it.
There is a wide range of literature, leaflets and information about
Quakers at the Quaker Centre, 42 St Giles, Oxford. The Centre is
open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Further
information on Quakers in Britain can be found at our national website.
For enquiries please contact Yvonne Dixon on 01865-242311.
(Please note: there is no meeting for worship on Christmas Day or
the Sunday between Christmas and New Year)
