Holy Trinity is the parish church of Headington Quarry. It
aims to be an open door between earth and heaven, showing God's love
for all. The inclusive congregation embraces a wide range of ages
and types of person.
The Parish Eucharist on Sundays at 10 a.m. (Common Worship) attracts the largest attendance: there are usually over a hundred communicants. Tea and coffee are served in the Coach House, down a leafy path from the church, after this service. Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer) is at 8 a.m. and Evensong at 6 p.m. Several times a year there is a Choral Evensong or a more informal Celebration Service.
There are two enthusiastic groups of singers to lead worship: the choir (boys, girls and adults) and the music groups (mostly adults). New members are always welcome.
On Tuesdays at 10 a.m. there is an informal eucharist (the 'Pram Service') attended by young children and their carers, followed by coffee and chat. A quieter eucharist is celebrated on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. On the last Friday of each month at 7.45 p.m. there is a Taizé service, followed by refreshments.
Young children enjoy a thriving Sunday School which meets at 10 a.m.
and joins in the last part of the Parish Eucharist. There is a
10+ group, meeting fortnightly, and a Sunday evening group for Year 8
and above.
