Day Conference on Prayer at Headington Baptist Church

"Rebuilding our confidence in prayer" is the title of a day conference that Headington Baptist Church is holding on Saturday 17th March. The speaker will be the Rev. Chris Band, Minister at HBC and author of "On my knees" (Monarch, Lion Hudson), the book on which the conference is based.  The conference is free but a voluntary donation of £2 will be requested to cover materials. Drinks will be provided The teaching will be interactive and include small group discussion. If you have ever asked yourself one or more of the following questions, then this event could be for you:  To what extent does our understanding of God shape the way we pray? Can our prayers change God's mind? In what ways might praying together be more effective than praying alone?
