The Headington Singers and Orchestra, conductor Sally Mears, are holding their Spring Concert on Friday the 20th of March at All Saints' Church. Featuring music by Mozart, his Requiem and Solemn Vespers.

Mozart's sublime Requiem has been a favourite of choirs and audiences since it was written - but not completed - shortly before Mozart's untimely death in 1791. The Vespers are less well-known but unmistakably from the maestro, written for use in Salzburg Cathedral. One movement, the Laudate, is a beautiful soprano solo, well known in its own right. Classics indeed!

The soloists for this performance are Sara Stowe (soparano), Serenna Wagner (alto), Peter Willis (tenor), and Will Orr (bass).

The concert starts at 7:30pm, tickets are £12/£10 on the door and children can enter free.
