Music and Ministry Weekend in Upper Heyford, 25 & 26 May.

If you would like some spiritual refreshment at the start of the late May Bank Holiday, then Heyford Park Chapel (part of the Cherwell Valley Benefice, Diocese of Oxford) invites you to hear the ministry of Marilyn Baker and Tracy Williamson

Marilyn Baker & Tracy Williamson present a dynamic ministry of music, teaching and prayer, whose focus is always to bring people into the healing and empowering presence of God. As well as evangelistic and encouraging concerts, they participate in Christian festivals, church weekends and services.

Marilyn and Tracy’s deep longing for people to find the love of Jesus also takes them to smaller places: hospitals, homes for the elderly or disabled, prisons, schools and workplaces. Since 2000 Marilyn and Tracy have been leading their own conferences at different venues across the country. Each with its own theme, these events have proved to be wonderful times of blessing, healing and release for all.

In the early 1980’s Marilyn released albums which drew people into God’s healing presence. Through her concerts, Marilyn, who has been blind almost from birth, soon realised the tremendous potential to touch peoples’ lives through word and music.

In 1986 Marilyn was joined by Tracy, whose gifts in speaking and prophecy enriched the music with a new dimension. Marilyn’s CDs and Tracy’s books have enabled them to reach a wider audience. What is so amazing is that Tracy is profoundly deaf and partially sighted and yet together, Tracy and Marilyn have been instrumental in bringing healing and wholeness to many people.

Geoff Price, Vicar at Cherwell Benefice, writes "We are very privileged to have Marilyn and Tracy coming to share an evening with us on Friday 25th May at 7.15pm. Please bring other people, especially those who don’t usually go to Church, for this very special evening. Coffee & tea will be provided.

On Saturday 26th May they will also be leading a Rest & Renewal Day from 10am to 3.30pm. This will be a very good day involving their lovely music and teaching and space for each person to be refreshed by God. Drinks are provided all day and everyone should bring a packed lunch

Both events will be held at Heyford Park Chapel, 572, Brice Road, Upper Heyford, OX25 5TE

Donations are welcome on the day for each event, but please book places by contacting Geoff & Hope Price on 0779 555 4102 or email:
